Edsen was so happy! He spent three nights out of every month carefully sequestered away. In the French Quarter, it simply wasn't safe for a young werewolf to roam the streets. His parents worried he might bite someone or even that someone might think hurt the young pup.

When his mother told him that he could come out of the dog kennel, so to speak, for Mardi Gras and presented him with a Werewolf Disguise, Edsen was so excited.

Finally, he could be himself, even if it only seemed like pretend. He could be a werewolf on the streets of New Orleans, they way he'd always dreamed.
