Little Petra felt too thrilled for words when her mother told her that she'd be getting her portrait photograph taken. When her mother searched in the closet for a pink dress, Petra pouted and stomped her feet.
 
"Green," she insisted to her mother. "I want to look as green as a bamboo forest."
 
Her mother laughed indulgently and pulled out the asked for green dress. 
 
She was so pleased that Petra was willing to speak her mind and own her opinion this way. To think, just a few months before she'd been a completely helpless little bundle weighing in at a measly 4 ounces!
