(This was the initial design for the Three of Swords Tarot Card for my Deck of the New Orleans Tarot Cats).
 
Swords symbolize the suit of air: intellect, logic and the keen razor edge of powerful thought.
 
The Threes in the Minor Arcana are dynamic. They are growth, expansion, movement and communication.
 
The Three of Swords represents pain and hurt. Your logic can't always protect you from the sword thrust of emotion.
 
Just remember that the storm will pass. Your wounds will heal. You can and will move on to a better and healthier place. Put the past into perspective and keep moving forward.
