Young Stephanie learned a lot about time travel. She knew that the henge could take her to a lot of different times and a lot of different places. She loved exploring. She loved adventure, but she knew that caution was an important part of time travel. 
 
She knew to keep her interactions superficial and to make as little impact on the people she visited. She knew that she must not change the timeline.
 
She knew that the Time Council kept strict accounts on who traveled where and what they did on their travels so she knew that coming back from the Indonesian Islands with a new pet could get her in a bit of trouble, but when she saw the komodo dragon, she knew that she must have him.
 
She supposed she'd better start thinking of a convincing cover story very quickly.
