Spindle Statiswhisker has been waiting in the Astral Plane for a very long time.
 
The Astral Plane is mostly drafts and echoes and furniture that won't hold still, and after a while, even a ghost cat starts wanting a proper windowsill.
 
Nobody's entirely sure where she came from. She turned up first as a small black curl at the edge of an old photograph, then as two dark eyes under a staircase, and later as a purr in a room where no cat had been allowed in years.
 
Our ghost cat is shy and quiet, but not fragile. Spindle tends to prefer people who understand that companionship doesn't always announce itself. Sometimes it just sits nearby and blinks at you.
She likes lamps, rain, and books left open on tables. She also appreciates people who talk to themselves while they work.
 
She dislikes vacuum cleaners, being called "creepy," and any house where everything matches.
 
Spindle is ready to leave the Astral Plane now.
 
She's looking for someone who appreciates odd little creatures and doesn't mind a bit of mystery around the edges.
