Miette Moonwhisker  was found in the Astral Plane under a table no one remembered owning.
 
She had been there for some time, sitting very straight, listening to everything. Miette listens to floorboards, tea kettles, closed books, faraway thunderstorms, and people who say they are fine when they are clearly full of weather.
 
She is a shy ghost cat, but not sad. She simply likes to know what kind of room she has entered before she decides where to sit.
 
Miette is fond of quiet houses, soft lamps, old blankets, and anyone who speaks gently to small animals. She may hide at first. Give her a windowsill, a little patience, and permission to stare at the corner of the room.
 
She has been waiting a long time for a place that feels less like drifting.
 
Miette is ready to come home.
