Little Frederick knew that Australia's animal herds were composed mostly of cows, but he longed more than anything to grow up and ride a horse.
He wanted to herd the flocks with his faithful Australian sheep dog. He wanted a life of adventure, or heating up coffee by the fire, telling stories of his outdoor exploits.
He wanted to be the Australian equivalent of Doc Holiday.
