Once upon a rain-soaked afternoon, a nobleman displeased the court jester and awoke to find himself somewhat… amphibian.
“Frogged” wanders the blurred border between fable and folly , where transformation is both curse and comedy. Built from my own photograph taken at the Louisiana Renaissance Faire and an altered Renaissance portrait, this surreal collage captures the moment just after the spell has settled and before anyone quite knows what to say.
Every Traveling Storyteller has a tale like this tucked in their pack, of pride turned green, of laughter echoing off castle walls, of the curious magic that insists we look twice before we judge what’s human.
A whimsical exploration of metamorphosis, theater, and mischief in silk and moss-green velvet.
