Sound can be a haunting.

Do the Bells Know Your Name was born from a fascination with resonance, the way a bell carries memory, how its voice lingers long after the listener has gone. In this surreal collage, a ghostly face emerges from a painted wall while a series of hanging bells float before it, one of them jagged, open-mouthed, ready to devour its own song. It’s both warning and lament: the hunger of beauty, the danger of being remembered. The figure doesn’t speak, but the air hums with recognition, as though the bells might answer, if you only dared to listen closely enough.

Part of my ongoing exploration of myth, sound, and the unseen world that hums beneath New Orleans’ cracked paint and fading prayers. For those who love their wonder threaded with a little dread.
