Over the course of 1888, in the overcrowded section of London known as Whitechapel, an unknown killer took the lives of five women.

 

Annie Chapman suffered her share of troubles and misfortunes, born in 1840. She married in 1869 and suffered severely over the death of one of her daughters. She took to drinking and found her way to London's Whitechapel.

 

On the night of Sept 8, 1888, she was brutally murdered by the man whom we've come to know only as Jack the Ripper
