Next weekend, the veil thins in a different direction.

🕷️ The Oddities & Curiosities Expo descends on New Orleans, and I’ll be there with a double booth packed with strange beauty and quiet hauntings.

📍 July 19 Ernest N. Morial Convention Center – Hall I

This is my favorite kind of circus: a marketplace of misfits, mystics, bone collectors, spell-makers, and artists who whisper stories through teeth and thread.

I'll have everything from surreal digital collage to ghost-stained handbags, from poetic prints to cursed-looking cabinet cards. Think of it as a reliquary of the lost and luminous. A fairytale told backwards. A suitcase full of teeth and tenderness.

Come visit. Touch the textures. Hear the stories. Let something follow you home.

(You can even buy it snacks later.)

But before the carnival begins - I need to say thank you.

Last night’s “Reclaiming Your Voice” opening at Kelwood Contemporary Art was something rare. Something raw.

To everyone who came, who cried, who stood in front of a piece and whispered “me too”—thank you. And to Jennifer Carwile, thank you for building a space where survival isn't just mourned, but honored.

I’ve carried the silence of abuse. I’ve lived in the shrinking spaces someone else carved around me. But nights like last night remind me why I keep making things. Why we all must.

Because healing is loud.

And messy.

And holy.

So yes, I’ll see you at Oddities & Curiosities. But I’m bringing all of this with me. The truth. The scars. The softness. The fire.

In all the tangled stories I sell, some part of me is still reclaiming my voice.

And if you’re reading this, maybe you are too.
