In some ways, this post feels more targeted at that the place we were a couple of months ago, finding sanctuary at home. The Ten of Pentacles emphasizes the comforts of home; being surrounded by the things you love and the people you value most.
We've been working on that: purging things we don't need or want. I'm actually trying a little with the gardening. Ordinarily the things I plant don't survive, but I'm trying. The herbs I've planted are flourishing. The lavender has doubled in size. I've gotten a promising number of sunflower plants doing their best to survive. I find that I like watching them grow. I've even started considering expanding into other untouched flower beds next spring.
We've prepped outside for flag hanging (yay, Pride!). We've added on to the house so that each of the children has their own room and I have an entire room as my studio. I've started the process of moving my art supplies and festival gear over from the Secret Underground Laboratory and started stacking boxes in the studio. We have to move the furniture and then begins the grand unpacking.
I don't enjoy the process of cleaning and moving and organizing but I love the results. We're working toward nesting more comfortably. Cozying in is a special sort of process.
What I see on the news about the virus alarms me. I fear we opened too much too soon, but such things are beyond my ability to control. It may well be that we will find ourselves once more cozying up at home.
I hope I'm wrong, but, regardless, I will continue the process of cozying up and settling in. Home should be a refuge, your favorite place, where you feel valued and loved. Surround yourself with the things and the people that you value most. Stay safe and cozy in your nests.
I love you all and wish you only the best vibes in the week ahead.
